Be a Champion for Children
We’re Proud to Announce our Partnerships for FY20-21
COVID-19 RELIEF FUND
Our Child Care Provider COVID-19 Relief Fund offers assistance to licensed centers & homes actively serving children or working to reopen. Centers throughout the County have the opportunity to apply for one-time grant funds to assist with COVID-19 related incurred. While we know the funding we provide will not meet all of the needs faced by centers, we are hopeful that funds will be helpful during this critical time. Applications will be accepted through July 20th, or until funds are expended.
Digital resources for COVID-19 at your fingertips.
Smart Start of Mecklenburg County has implemented precautions for the safety of our staff and families we serve. Beginning March 17, 2020 through March 31, 2020 SSMC staff will be working remotely. Management will closely monitor the situation and adjust these dates as needed. If you need assistance, please call our main line at (704) 377-6588 or email your main point of contact, if applicable. All messages will be returned within 48 hours, though likely sooner.
It’s important to note closures apply to MECK Pre-K as well. MECK Pre-K Centers will close for a minimum of 15 days, effective Tuesday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Please keep yourself and others safe by following precautions outlined by the Center for Disease Control.
